Frap, wrap, Clove hitch, spar . . .

.

Something new in the eucalyptus grove down in the wadi!

Looks like the Meitar Scout troop has been up a tree, working on their lashing skills.

  1. That'll keep them busy. I like the textures of the bark.

  3. Lucky them: I used to do things like these when I was a kid... a long time ago!

  4. Remindes me of the tree house that we had long ago here.

  5. How fun for them. Looks like just the place for them to keep a lookout of the goings on in the wadi. I enjoyed studying those lashings and with a little more practice I think they will have it mastered! I, however, would prefer lashings of whipped cream with my . . . what . . . berries, or decaf . . .

  6. Speaking as a U.S. Boy Scout leader it could be a little neater but it looks like they had fun. My older scout son impressed a girl once by lashing a raft together at a lake so that was the important thing!

  7. Excellent for bird's eye view. It reminds me of the canopy tour I made in the Argentinian jungle. :-)
